When I went to scan today's and next weeks pages, seems they've vanished. Not in my work folder anywhere, looked everywhere, not a sign. I was so mad. Fortunately the sketch stage wasn't TOO untidy, so...

If they finally show up someday I'll upload the real versions.

See y'all soon.

You know, I almost didn't realize it looked different. It still looks good, just different.

untidy my foot! with just a little bit of work cleaning the image, this could EASILY be the art of a professional manga artist. (I say manga b/c straight pencils are more prevalent in that style than western comics imo.)

This style is better, keep it

Ooh, I've had that scare before. Couldn't be arsed to do it again so I stopped updating until I found them.
Hopefully you will find them. Still looks good

Yeah, I figured Rumple would be willing to renegotiate. It's good to see that Chris has, indeed, matured beyond her "blame everyone else, take no responsibility" stage.

And h0ly - it looks a LITTLE rough, but honestly this page just comes across more like a different style than an incomplete work. Still looks good in my eyes!

Oh no, I hope you're able to find the finished pages! That is awful. :(

Also, I disagree with what others are saying - the finished pages are definitely better, though it's pretty cool to see the sketch and it is nice in its own way.

@Cave: Yeah, the finished pages are better, I just wouldn't call this page BAD by any means.

H0ly you just confirmed Gabe is the Fair's son.

Alt txt That's usually what the court papers say...but just wait until he keeps the kid longer than he should on some of those weekends or over a holiday (usually Christmas cuz it's busier and more chaotic) and doesn' tell anyone where they are and then she'll have to call the royal guard to hunt them down all over the country side, but most of them are on vacation!

ahhh, memories

Have you tried using Windows' "Restore previous versions of this folder" feature? I recall recovering a fair few files through that. Should be in "Previous Versions" in the properties.

Although it's doubtful it WOULD be there.. it's worth a shot.

I actually LOVE that first panel. The sketchiness looks almost like a dream sequence. Suddenly I'm struck with something my art professor once said about how he likes seeing unfinished/sketchy works because they have more character. I actually think he's right in this case. I hope you find the finished version for your sake, but thanks for sharing your work in progress! :D

@H0lyhandgrenade: You've probably tried already, but in case you haven't:
This happened to me before (losing a file) and I was able to find the file again by using the computer's built-in search function to check the entire computer and connected storage devices for the file by name.

Hope it helps, and Merry xmas! :)

Wow Seeing the sketch makes me appreciate the work it takes to finish the pages that much more.

I, for one, am super happy to have a sketch page. I've often wondered how your sketches look H0ly.. And now I've received this update and I feel so pleased...
