The King was fun because he kind of wrote himself... I didn't actually know the kind of person he was when he first appeared. He sure did though.

Is it wrong that I found his response awesome? ... What? I enjoy a good villain.

Betcha Chris regrets that day every day.

In response to the alt text... Yeah, as a writer, I totally relate to that. I've had characters essentially take me in directions that I wasn't expecting to take them, as if they willed it themselves. It's a tad surreal.

@Sol:
It's also annoying when you go 'this is what I want to happen' and the character kinda, runs away with your story and does the opposite.

I love when you're writing a new character and you gradually discover how much of a total monster they are.

CALLED IT! That is one evil king. Wow. Really, saw it coming but actually was doubting myself until now. Ha ha ha...*sigh*

Her life is one trouble after another. I want a (at least slightly) happy ending for her.

@Amarath: Give it ten years.

Anyone who says that they plot out their stories entirely from the beginning and change nothing are either liars or JK Rowling. And even JK Rowling changed what she was going to do regarding Arthur Weasley.
